Sedžda Zukorlić Shines at Modest Fashion Week Abu Dhabi  

Serbian fashion designer Sedžda Zukorlić, hailing from Novi Pazar, was a special guest at the prestigious Modest Fashion Week Abu Dhabi, held from April 14th to 16th, 2025. This event, dedicated to elegant and sophisticated modest fashion, brought together leading designers, influencers, and industry professionals from around the world. For Sedžda, this marked her second appearance in the UAE—following her successful showcase of the “The Power of Pain” collection in Dubai last year—and an opportunity to draw inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of the Middle East while forging valuable professional connections.

Husna Jolay, a rising influencer balancing life between Istanbul and London, Husna chose Sedžda’s raw silk dress adorned with pearls and beads from the “Balkanian” collection for the opening night of Modest Fashion Week Istanbul. Safia Skaleem, with years of experience in the fashion world, Safia trusted Sedžda’s craftsmanship not only for this event but also for her wedding at the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) in Medina. Aiša Kačapor, originally from Novi Pazar and now based in Vienna, Aiša, a luxury fashion enthusiast, made a striking appearance in a custom white ensemble designed exclusively for her. Noura Alkholy, the Egyptian influencer, TV presenter, and pharmacist turned heads on the first day of the event in a gold-detailed creation by Sedžda. Merjem Babić, the Bosnian-German influencer wore a personalized bespoke design that captivated both the audience and her Instagram followers.
